Tim Herrick

For over 35 years, Tim has helped people with all of their crane needs. He works tirelessly to make sure each job is done on time, on budget and right! Tim was born in North Western, Pennsylvania on a large dairy farm in a strong christian home learning the value of ethics and hard work. His uncle’s were in the construction business and had a huge influence on him. Tim relocated to Central Kentucky in 1989 providing services to the construction business after settling in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He started as a welding contractor building and installing miscellaneous metals, mostly stairs and handrails and small structures like canopies and mezzanines with a boom truck. He soon started erecting structural steel for others and stopped fabricating. He bought his first crane in 1992. Tim is a NCCCO Certified crane operator for most any type of crane including small and large hydraulic cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes and overhead cranes. He is also a NCCCO certified lift director and has been recognized for designing and organizing critical lifts of complex structures. Tim has an owner-operator agreement with the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE). After over 20 years Tim has retired from steel erecting and now enjoys a slower pace owner-operating his cranes for others, predominantly steel erectors, tank builders, concrete contractors and machinery movers.
